David S. Crow
Born in Michigan he received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. He obtained his Ph.D. and M.D. from the University of Hawaii. His Ph.D. and post-doctoral research was at the Cancer Research Center of Hawaii. His residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck surgery was at the University of Chicago. He completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery from the University Chicago. He worked as a Clinical Associate at the University of Chicago in the Department of Surgery,Section of Otolaryngology. He moved to Maui in 2000 to join Dr. Andrew Don.
Dr. Crow is Board Certified and specializes in all aspects of adult and pediatric Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery as well as Facial Plastic Surgery. This includes minimally invasive and endoscopic thyroid and parathyroid surgery,endoscopic sinus surgery,skull base surgery,implantable hearing devices and middle ear surgery. Also,rhinoplasty/nasal reconstruction,blepharoplasty,facial fillers,Botox and facial plastic procedures.
Lawrence M. Eng, AuD
Before joining Advanced Pacific in 2007,Dr. Lawrence Eng founded and operated a successful private audiology practice for over twenty years in San Francisco,California. Prior to that time,he held the position of Rehabilitative Audiologist with the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Palo Alto,California,after beginning his professional career in Audiology with an established private practice in San Francisco.
Dr. Eng completed his clinical doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.D.) at Salus University and earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Communication Disorders from San Francisco State University. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is certified by the American Board of Audiology. He is also a qualified American Sign Language interpreter.
Dr. Eng is currently serving as the Immediate-Past President of the American Academy of Audiology. Previously,Dr. Eng served on the boards of the Hearing Society of the Bay Area,the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA),and the California Academy of Audiology (CAA),where he served as President and was awarded the organization’s Distinguished Service Award.
In the public arena,Dr. Eng participated in ongoing hearings and studies with the Federal Communications Commission concerning issues related to hearing aid compatibility and cell phones as a member of the AT&T Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities.
After several years of part-time residence,Dr. Eng permanently relocated to Maui in 2011. In addition to his work at Advanced Pacific,he is an audiologist for the Maui Medical Group and serves on a State of Hawaii advisory committee for the Newborn Hearing Screening Program.
Ashley Orr, AuD
Dr. Orr is a graduate of Salus University,George S. Osborne College of Audiology in Elkins Park,Pennsylvania. Dr. Orr was born and raised in northern New Jersey. She and her husband made the exciting move to Maui in July 2015 and have not stopped exploring the beautiful island since. Dr. Orr earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences from Kean University in 2012. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and will soon be certified by the American Board of Audiology. Dr. Orr enjoys working with patients of all ages and specializes in auditory and vestibular diagnostics as well as aural rehabilitation and hearing aid evaluations,fittings,and verification.
